The Portuguese Association of Classification and Data Analysis (CLAD) and the School of Technology and Management of Viseu of Polytechnic Institute of Viseu have the pleasure to organize the XXVI Journeys of Classification and Data Analysis (JOCLAD2019), which will be held, from 11th to 13th April of 2019.
The JOCLAD2019 will take place at School of Technology and Management of Viseu of Polytechnic Institute of Viseu.
The main objectives of this Journeys, addressed to teachers, researchers, students, and users who share interests in the area of Classification and Data Analysis, among other, are:
- Promote and develop research in data science;
- Stimulate the national scientific production, in the theoretical and applied fields;
- Develop mechanisms for scientific dialogue, collaboration, discussion and exchange between data scientists and companies;
- Strengthen CLAD's lead and cohesion.
The Scientific Program of JOCLAD2019 includes plenary sessions, thematic sessions, free communications (oral and poster) organized in parallel sessions and two mini-courses. Briefly more detailed information will be released.
The Journeys will also be an opportunity to visit the wonderful city of Viseu: City of Viriato, Winemaking City, Garden City…
