Award

Fernando Nicolau 2021

With the purpose of paying homage to Professor Fernando Nicolau, founding member and co-responsible for the creation of the Portuguese Association for Data Classification and Analysis (CLAD), CLAD has instituted the FERNANDO NICOLAU AWARD.

This is a biannual award that aims at promoting and rewarding papers in Data Science, and Data Analysis and Classification published internationally by CLAD members, stimulating publication in CLAD's scientific areas.

Among the works submitted to the 2021 edition of the FERNANDO NICOLAU AWARD, two were identified as fulfilling the conditions of the respective Announcement (attached).

The prize will be awarded during the JOCLAD 2021.
